Of course baby's first blackout and baby's first heat wave would happen simultaneously.
Our house was hit by, not exactly a blackout, some kind of low-voltage. This meant that half of the rooms in the house had power while the others didn't. Lots of fun. (It took me a couple minutes to figure out what was happening since switches didn't work, but I could see lights on). Well, anyways. It seems that this power "situation" has caused irrepairable harm (at least by me) to our air conditioner.
So we've been nomads, staying at Shannon's parent's house for a few nights and trying to keep Eila cool (the thermostat in the house has reached 93 on occasion). If Shannon's parents are reading this, I hope that's okay...
Well, Eila has been doing pretty well with our movable lifestyle, taking it all in stride. I'm sure that's better than enduring the tropical weather inside our house.
This is also why there haven't been many pictures of the day added recently, if you haven't guessed yourself
