FYI, our bright little one is cruising around easily, but prefers to crawl. She can stand for a few seconds, but only if she isn't aware that she is standing. As soon as she realizes that she is on her own, she'll sit down.

**Additional information** (Dec. 12) Eila is now able to stand on her own. She frequently lets go of her supportive furniture or people and stands for a few moments before sitting down or lunging forward and toppling over.
