I've moved the site to a new webhost, so if anything is broken -- that's why. This is also here so I know when the DNS has switched over.

Eila turns one today. We're all very excited.

Shannon noticed Eila taking a step from behind her back yesterday. This has fueled much controversy -- especially that Eila is an expert walker and is trying to hide this from us.

I think she is up at night pacing in her crib, back and forth....

Eila took her first steps last night. These were the first real non-lunge steps (since her previous attemps at walking were leaning her whole body forward at 45 degrees and someone would catch her after she took a few steps).

She did it twice (because Daddy wasn't watching the first time) -- but wouldn't perform for the camera, so photographic evidence is still lacking.

She still doesn't seem very motivated to actually walk. She's still convinced that she can get there faster if she crawls (and she can). So I'm not anticipating much bipedal movement in the next few weeks.
