Eila is not really aware, but the life she has become accustomed to is about to change. Around the middle of September, Eila will meet her new baby brother. Eila has adjusted well to sharing her mother twice a week when I babysit Lucie, but a 24-hr tiny baby may not be as welcomed. Eila does seem to love little babies, especially their eyes - to poke them. She has been more interested lately in taking care of her doll and we have been reading books about becoming the big sister and welcoming home a new baby, but I think Eila is still in denial or maybe for her ignorance is bliss.
