Eila LOVES strawberries. We picked Grandma Karen up this morning for a trip to Rowe's U-Pick Farm and Eila informed her Grandma that she didn't just like strawberries, she loved them. This became exceedingly clear as we arrived and began collecting strawberries in our containers. Eila picked about 3-4 strawberries and then decided to try one. That was the end of Eila helping to pick strawberries to take home. Eila spent the next hour eating strawberries, some that she picked herself, some that she found in Grandma's box and some from Mama's box. She said that she really liked picking strawberries. When I asked her what her favorite part was, you can be sure she said, "Eat strawberries!"

You Lost Your Pile
Eila, our little helper, noticed that Papa was sweeping and quickly went to find her broom to lend a hand. She came back and was politely asked to help gather more dirt from around the house rather than spread the already collected dirt. A few seconds later, Eila is seen shoving the last of the dirt pile under the stove with her broom and saying "You lost your pile." Indeed, Papa did lose his pile; it's one way to clean up...
