Do Hear That Noise?

Eila's new favorite topic is sounds. She loves to play a game with her Daddy where they take turns making noises while the other person covers their eyes and guesses what the noise is. Everywhere we go, Eila hears and wonders about the softest noise as well as the loudest sounds.

She is also starting to speak in French a little again, but regularly asks me not to speak in French or read books in French. She insists: "No, Mama, en anglais."

The other sounds that we hear a lot of with Eila are those of dancing feet and instructions to join her ballet class. She adores her ballet class at the Rec Center and her new Swan Lake (Bella Dancerella) video! If she isn't doing something related to ballet, you can bet she is eating or sleeping.

Countdown to Three

Eila's third birthday is around the corner and she couldn't be more excited. This year, she'll be a big girl. When Eila turns three years old, she will be giving her pacifiers to babies who need them and she will start taking ballet lessons. We've been talking about these upcoming events for some time now; we are all eager for her birthday to come, complete with a pink princess cake and candles. Just 8 more days!
