I'm going to be a pie-oholic.

Eila has recently become very interested in drawing things. She spends hours created beautiful pictures of all sorts of things. She has liked to do art projects for a very long time, but now her creations are representations of real life things. Some of her favorite scenes include the beach or pool, so I think it might be a little bit of dreaming as well...

Josiah and Eila were playing with a wooden Thomas whistle that they borrowed from their Grandma. When Josiah was having a bit of trouble making the sound while blowing into the whistle, Eila suggested, "maybe the batteries are dead".

If you notice, there is a difference in the cleanliness of the two rooms. More often than not, this is usually how they end up at the end of the day. (Note: this is also after some minor cleaning has been done to both rooms. Yes, both rooms).
