Despite the fact that it is still winter with lots of snow on the ground, we are getting ready for this coming fall when Eila Rose will enroll in Kindergarten. She is very excited about that idea. We went and got our registration packet, had her yearly well-child visit and got her forms all in order. In April, we'll attend Kindergarten Round-Up and tour the school. We are hoping for the morning session and Eila is hoping she'll get to ride the bus.
Eila now weighs 39 pounds and is 41.5 inches tall. She's on track to be 5 foot 3 inches. She is perfectly proportioned at the 25th percentile. She proudly announced to the pediatrician that she will be glad to be an olympian even if she doesn't win gold in gymnastics. Eila seemed very surprised to hear that some five year-olds don't know how to ride a two-wheeler or write their name, since she's been doing those things for years now. :)
